Well, more accurately, didn’t do it. I spoke to the person handling her estate and had it confirmed that all of her belongings were given away before she died. There was no will, and what she promised me didn't happen. The rest of the estate is in probate, mostly related to her insurance through work. At least there's no longer a mystery as to what happened to her belongings.

Ye’, the fun and games of handling people’s estate.

We found some doozies with my mother’s after she passed.

I’m expecting the same with grand dad when he goes.

My step-father is his executor and both had a copy of the will. But two months before my grand dad had an ‘episode’ (later diagnosed as dementia), he had asked for my step-father’s copy of the will.

The family don't think he's got long left and knowing the vultures they are and both copies of the will now being missing, I think I'll keep me and my sister as far away as possible.
